1860's Friedrick Poetter
Musician's Sword This is a nice
example of a Friedrick Poetter Civil War era Musician's sword. Stamped on
one side is a Rabbit's Head and below that is "F.P". Any stamping on the
other side has been worn away over time. The blade does have many nicks
though as if this sword was used to clear brush. Other then that this sword

1863 Christopher Roby
Musician's Sword with Scabbard This
is a nice example of a Christopher Roby Musician's sword. Stamped in a
circle on one side is "C. ROBY / W.CHELMSFORD.MS". On the other side is
stamped " U.S. / 1863 / F.S.S.". There are some nicks on the blade, but
otherwise it is very good condition. The scabbard in broke in half.

| 1860's Unknown Maker
Musician's Sword with Scabbard.
This is a Civil War era Musician's sword. Stamped on one side is "US / G.K.O."
As you can see from the photos, it is difficult to know who the maker is
though I think that it was probably made by Ames. There are some nicks on
the blade, but otherwise it is very good condition. The Scabbard is is one
piece, but the 150 year old leather is very fragile. Contact
