1-2 Swap Shop: buy-sell-trade instruments, accessories, etc. You are encouraged to bring instruments, accessories, Ephemera, or CD's   (especially your own).  We will try to set some ground rules for this so it isn't too crazy.  Items may be for sale only, sale or trade, or trade only.  For instance, most of us own cornets that we would never sell.  But, if presented with an equally rare/desirable cornet in trade, we might consider it, since the focus of our collections often change over time.  Looking at it this way will prevent the swap shop from being only junkers we would all like to unload --- but also some choice things that would only be swapped for equally choice items.

Brass Band
As you can see, this year there will be a lot less driving and more time playing.  "Brass Band" will be when most of us play 19th century period music together as we did to good effect in Elkhart.  Even I will attempt to read music, and play an alto horn if I must!  "Brass Band" will also include time to perform not one, but TWO new compositions by our own Professor Rick Schwartz.

I have purposely scheduled "down time" in the late afternoons to unwind, or to visit local attractions.  For instance, the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art, and the Florida Museum of Natural History are just 5 minutes from your hotel.
